According to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), poor indoor air quality
(IAQ) is among the top five environmental risks to you and your family. Pollutants
in your building's air can cause dizziness and headaches, and can aggravate allergies
and asthma.
Regular cleaning and vacuuming can go a long way toward improving the air you breathe.
But cleaning alone will not solve IAQ problems.
Four key strategies to improve air quality, comfort and productivity:
- Monitor: To help keep track of relative humidity and carbon dioxide, sensors
measure these levels and can be acted upon by a facility manager or HVAC system.

- Eliminate: By taking steps to remove harmful elements circulating in your
building, you minimize the build-up of pollutants to enhance comfort, efficiency,
and air quality. Lennox's dehumidificiation systems are part of an effective strategy
to maintain a proper balance of temperature, humidity and airflow.

- Ventilate: Ventilation is essential to improving indoor air quality by cost-effectively
incorporating fresh air that reduces the concentration of chemicals, carbon dioxide
and other contaminates. Ideal for tightly sealed buildings, a ventilation system
helps replace stale, contaminated indoor air with fresher outside air.
- Clean: Pollen, dust mites, dirt, bacteria and mold are just a few of the
contaminates that can adversely affect air quality. Filters provide a valuable barrier
to eliminate the circulation of these harmful elements.

and maintaining your Indoor Air Quality! Our trained professionals will help assess
the health of your indoor environment with the following tests and checks:
Infiltrometer Test®
- Whole House Health Checkup
This checkup is highly recommended and used by many government agencies including
the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the United States Department
of Energy (DOE).
- What will the Home Checkup tell me?
1. If your house provides enough fresh air ventilation.
2. How to make your house more confortable and lower your utility bills.
3. How to reduce resipiratory allergy suffering.
4. How to keep outdoor dust and pollen out of your home.
-
What does the House Checkup involve?
The checkup only takes about an hour. The computerized Infiltrometer will evaluate
the fresh air exchange and thermal efficiency of your entire home. Our technician
will then take the time to show you any problems found, and if requested will provide
an estimate for any recommended repairs. The checkup can be done at your convenience.
