Common Concerns
- Allergies and asthma
are health conditions that cleaning alone cannot cure. But,
cleaning the air conditioning and heating system will remove allergens
like dust and mold from the air distributions system serving the indoor
environment. An inspection is necessary to say if cleaning is prescribed
for your home or office. ENVIROtech will
define a course of restorative maintenance based on the design and
manufacturer of the ventilation system, and the level of contamination
it harbors.
Reasons to Clean
-
Replacement. The heating and air conditioning
system is the most expensive mechanical equipment in your home. Replacing the
equipment could cost thousands of dollars. Cleaning the heating and air conditioning
system and ductwork , as well as preventative maintenance, will be a wise investment
because it may extend the life of the equipment by years.
-
Mold collection. The air-handling unit is one
of the primary collection points for mold. Unless the air-handling unit has been
recently replaced or serviced, the entire heating and air conditioning system should
be cleaned. Some companies offer a low-cost "duct cleaning" that doesn't include the
air-handling unit and mechanical components.
-
Indoor air pollution. Some researchers claim that
indoor air pollution contributes to more than half of all illnesses. Common indoor
household pollutants include dust, mold, pollen, insect remains, and odors.
ENVIROtech uses one of the most advanced Air Duct Cleaning Systems available. All of our
equipment is manufactured to meet or exceed OSHA, EPA, and NADCA standards for cleaning the air of
nuisance dust. Our powerful vacuum system will first be connected to your air duct near your
furnance. Various tools will then be used to dislodge the contaminants and debris in your air
ducts. The powerful vacuum will then pull the contaminants out of the ducts and out of your home.
Once the system is cleaned, all access holes are resealed, returning your duct system to its
original clean condition.
